Marketing Strategy
Not seeing a return on what you're already spending? We build strategy that turns your marketing into something you can measure, predict, and grow. Less guesswork. More direction.
What goes into great marketing strategy

Brand Strategy
Who you are, what you stand for, and why anyone should care.
Audience Research
Who you're really talking to, and what makes them act.
Channel Strategy
Where to show up, how often, and with what message.
Campaign Planning
The structure that turns big ideas into shippable work.
Marketing Roadmaps
A clear plan, sequenced by priority, mapped to your goals.
Performance Frameworks
The KPIs that tell you what's working, without the vanity metrics.

When strategy does its job
Strategy gives the rest of your marketing a job to do. It stops campaigns, content, emails, ads and website changes being treated as separate bits of activity, and starts connecting them around the same goals. The result is less guessing, less last-minute planning, and a much clearer reason behind what gets created, where it goes, and how it should help your business grow.
Our Marketing Strategy process
Look at what’s happening now
Before anything gets planned, your current marketing needs a proper look. Channels, content, website, reporting, customer journey, tools and follow-up process. This shows what is helping, what is being ignored, and allows us to recognise what's going well and where we see opportunities.
Work out what needs to change
This is where the important questions get answered. Who are you trying to reach? What do they care about? Why should they choose you? Where are enquiries dropping off? What is your team struggling to keep on top of? The strategy starts with the real problems, not a list of trendy marketing ideas.
Shape the plan
Once the gaps are clear, the plan gets built around the areas that matter most. Messaging, campaigns, content, website changes, email, paid ads, CRM, reporting or whatever else is needed to help your marketing feel more joined up and easier to manage.
Make it happen
The strategy is turned into clear actions, priorities and next steps. That might mean handing it to your team, supporting delivery, or managing the work for you. Either way, the plan has a job to do, and it should not end up buried in a folder after one meeting.

Still have questions?
Let's clear them up.
Do I need to keep working with you after the strategy's done?
No. You can take the strategy and execute it in-house, hand it to another agency, or shelve it (though we'd rather you didn't). Most clients carry on with us because it's easier than coordinating delivery across multiple teams, but it's never a requirement.
Can you help with my marketing without doing a full strategy first?
Yes. If you've already got a clear strategy and just need execution, we can step into that. We'll always ask a few questions to make sure what we're delivering matches the bigger picture, but a full strategy build isn't a prerequisite for working together.
Is a marketing strategy important?
Yes, but how much it matters depends on where you are. Early-stage businesses can sometimes get by without one for a while. Anything beyond that, and the lack of strategy starts to show in wasted spend, inconsistent messaging, and campaigns that don't compound. The bigger you get, the more it matters.
How long does a marketing strategy take to build?
Most strategies take four to six weeks from kick-off to delivery, depending on how much research is needed and how decision-making works on your side. Lighter campaign-level strategies can come together in two to three weeks.
What's the difference between a strategy and a marketing plan?
Strategy is the why and the what. The plan is the how and the when. Strategy defines positioning, audience, and goals. The plan turns that into a sequenced calendar of activities, channels, and budgets. You need both, but a plan without a strategy behind it tends to drift.
How often should we review our marketing strategy?
Annually at minimum, with quarterly check-ins to track progress against KPIs and adjust where needed. Markets shift, customer behaviour evolves, and what worked last year often won't this year. A strategy that doesn't move loses value fast.
Will I own the strategy once it's delivered?
Yes. Every document, framework, and asset we produce belongs to you. The strategy is yours to keep, share with your team, or hand to another agency if you ever need to.
Do you work with our existing brand, or do you start from scratch?
Most often we build on what's already there. We look at where the brand sits today, what's working, what's not, and refine from there. Starting from scratch is usually overkill, unless you're launching something new or repositioning entirely.
